📚 ¿Qué son los Adverbios de Lugar?
What are adverbs of place? They are words that tell us WHERE something is or WHERE an action happens.
🎯 Definición: Los adverbios de lugar nos dicen DÓNDE está algo o DÓNDE ocurre una acción.
Definition: Adverbs of place tell us WHERE something is or WHERE an action happens.
📏 Tres ubicaciones principales:
Three main locations: HERE (speaker's location), THERE (listener's location), OVER THERE (away from both)
- AQUÍ: donde está la persona que habla (here)
- AHÍ: donde está la persona que escucha (there)
- ALLÍ: lejos de ambas personas (over there)
💡 Diferencia con demostrativos: Los adverbios de lugar son INVARIABLES (no cambian de forma). Los demostrativos sí cambian según género y número.
Difference with demonstratives: Place adverbs are INVARIABLE (don't change form). Demonstratives do change according to gender and number.

Identify location: Read each situation and choose the correct adverb according to who is speaking and where things are located.

1. María le dice a Juan: "_____ tengo mis llaves" (here)
María is speaking and the keys are near her (where she is). Use "aquí" (here).
2. Pedro le pregunta a Ana: "¿Qué tienes _____ en tu bolso?" (there)
Pedro is asking about Ana's bag. The bag is near Ana (the listener). Use "ahí" (there).
3. Carmen y Luis miran hacia una montaña lejana. Carmen dice: "_____ hay un castillo" (over there)
The castle is on a distant mountain, far from both Carmen and Luis. Use "allí" (over there).
4. Jorge habla por teléfono: "Estoy trabajando _____" (here)
Jorge is speaking and he is in his office (where he is). Use "aquí" (here).
5. Laura le dice a su hermana: "¿Puedes darme el libro que está _____ en tu escritorio?" (there)
Laura is asking for a book on her sister's desk (near the sister/listener). Use "ahí" (there).
6. Dos amigos ven un avión en el cielo. Uno dice: "_____ va un avión muy alto" (over there)
The plane is high in the sky, far from both friends. Use "allí" (over there).
7. El profesor dice a la clase: "Vengan todos _____ conmigo" (here)
The teacher is speaking and wants the students to come to where he is. Use "aquí" (here).
8. Sandra le pregunta a Miguel: "¿Qué haces _____ en tu cuarto?" (there)
Sandra is asking about Miguel's room, where Miguel (the listener) is. Use "ahí" (there).

Visual writing: Look at the person and the objects at different distances. Write the complete answer with the correct location adverb.
